Wellness Classes
FYS currently offers many of your favorite group wellness classes, including:
> Taiji/Tai Chi for Wellness Class: Warm-up, stationed tai chi arm movements, tai chi walking, then foundation form, 24-shi form or Yang's family tai chi form training accordingly based on student's whereabout. Well structured on-going class conducive to learning for all levels. Proven to improve balance, promote good health and anti-aging. Taught by Master Jennifer Yu, official master disciple of China's Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or certified instructors trained by her.
> Taiji/Tai Chi for Arthritis Class: Warm-up, A version of Sun Style tai chi developed by Dr Paul Lam and sanctioned by the Arthritus Foundation. It has a higher Stance and gentle movements, suitable for old people, or those with arthritus.
> Tai Chi Force, Tai Chi Sword & Basic Push-Hand Class: Silk Cocoon Spiral force training, special tai chi walking, tai chi pose cultivation for rooting, strengthening and power, foundation tai chi sword, 37-shi sword form or Yang family sword form practice based on student's whereabouts, and intro to push-hand practice. Well structured on-going class, very conducive to learning for all levels. Taught by Master Jennifer Yu, official master disciple of China's Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, or certified instructors trained by her.
> Qigong/Chi Kung for Wellness Class: Standing cultivation on the 3 Dantian (Elixir Field - Energy Center) of the body, Healing Sound practice with movements for organs, 1 to 2 Qigong forms of standing and moving movements, and ending with a short ecstasy-state moving meditation. A profound invigorating, comforting and enlightening experience! Lovingly led by Master Jennifer Yu in a studio with empowering energy field.
> Qigong/Chi Kung for Healing Class: Cultivation on the 3 Dantian (Elixir Field - Energy Center) of the body, Healing Sound practice for organs, a set of easy-to-follow Qigong movements, and ending with a powerful group healing. Tremendous Qi, relaxation and healing, may be taken standing or sitting. Lovingly led by Master Jennifer Yu in a studio with great healing energy field.
> Therapeutic Qigong/Chi Kung Class: Gentle to moderate stretching en ergy workout developed by Chinese doctors and professors at the University of Physical Education and Sports Medicine. Combined with tMeridian Meditative exercise and Organ Harmony Chi Gong, the whole body is revitalized, strengthered and refreshed. Can be done at any fitness level.
> Happy Heart Therapy & Guided Meditation: Gain eye-opening insights on the Natural Laws, the Human Condition and Root Cause of Human Sufferings. Learn ancient and simple techniques to effectively and rapidly rid all sufferings and bitterness. Finished with a powerful guided Elixir Field cleansing Meditation. Be prepared for deep realizations, major transformations and spiritual elevations. All you need to bring is a genuine desire to be happy or happier.
> Renewal Yoga Class: A selection of favorite sitting and laying poses for soothing renewal and gentle expansion of body, mind & spirit, alleviating stress, improving flexibility and self-awareness, and promoting inner peace. A wonderful physical and spiritual journey each time. Lovingly led by Ms. Jennifer Yu in a soothing studio setting. Both beginners and seasoned practitioners are welcome!
> Flow Yoga Class: Sun Salutation movements and a selection of favorite standing poses for strengthening, stamina and flexibility improvement, alleviating stagnation, improving breathing, mental focus and harmonization of the whole being. A powerful physical, mental and spiritual toning each time. Lovingly led by Ms. Jennifer Yu in a studio with empowering energy field.
> Yin Yoga Class: Practice quiet power via 16 poses. Slow movement with at least 3 minutes in each poses assisted by pillows to facilitae more joint opening and tension release. Emphasize on kindness, surrending and self love. Infused with soothing Aroma Therapy to enhance your senses, self-discovery and personal growth. Lovingly led by Ms. Wendi Strickland. All is welcome!
> Guided Meditation Class: A Spiritual Journey to the Inner Peace - our true home. Welcome home! Done in laying position. Feel free to bring your own mat, pillows and blankets. Aroma Therapy will be applied on each attendee to deepen the experience and everyone will be finished with a delightful light Thai Touch. A deep relaxation and harmonization for the whole being indeed! Lovingly led by Ms. Wendi Strickland.
> Body Sculpting Class: Internal training between therapeutic hydraulic fitness machines and various selected functional training goodies for better cardio, strength and body composition. Sculpt, burn fat & improve metabolism. A dynamic & fun workout each time. Be prepared to sweat! Finished with a nice whole body stretching.
> Improve Bones and Movements Class: Be In a slow and precise manner, this training introduces and implements from a collection of 3000 combination of movements created by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais to stimulate bone strength, relieve pain and increase the brain's capacity to learn and improve in both movements and thinking patterns. It can be done on mat, chair and/or standing/walking, and is for everyone of all abilities and ages. Lovingly instructed by Ms. Iris Alsheh, GCFP, BFLT.
(All Classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise listed.)
$12 per class; $100 for 10 classes; $200 for 22 classes.
$75/month for 2 Classes a week; $100/month for 3 Classes a week; $125/month for Unlimited Classes.
All classes are led by certified instructors and limited to 10 - 15 people depending on the class. Registration prior to attending is recommended.
House-call instructing is available. Minimum of 8 students are required unless for one-on-one training.

Parking: Should parking lot be full, park on grass outside of hedge or at the ministry's parking lot across.
Dress Code: Wear clothing and shoes suitable for exercise. Lightweight flat-bottom shoes for Classes except for Yoga. No slippers or sandels for Tai Chi or Qigong.
Directions: 95 to Yamato Rd, turn left/north on Federal Hwy, pass the 1st light (Jeffery St.), make a U-turn and come back, Forever Young is on your right hand side/the west side, 5999, in with Stop & Shop and Renzo's Italian Restaurant.
